德国著名诗人海涅曾说：“我不赞美行为，赞美的是人的精神。”他是在歌颂人类的历史，也是在歌颂人类伟大的精神。

当前，中国与世界一道进入了新时代。站在新的历史经纬上，我们能看到，世界正在迅速变革，物质已极大繁荣，我们的世界是如此多姿多彩，历史光辉灿烂，人类的精神需求也在不断提高。正因有多元化的精神需求，世界多极化、经济全球化、社会信息化、文化多样化才能深入发展。

说到精神，它需要传播，更需要表达。艺术工作者，尤其是画家，就用画笔把他们所处时代的精神做出了最真实、最直白、最抽象的展现。变幻的色彩、特色的造型、丰富的层次给人以极大的感染力，美好的艺术可以直冲脑海。艺术的行为是精神靓丽的外衣，艺术家的作品是思想的窗口，最能引起人们来自深处的精神共鸣。透过艺术作品，我们能看到作者的生活经历，看到时代的变革，看到精神文化的变迁。

这次《相识四川——中德当代艺术交流展》，邀请到了国内25位著名艺术家，更是有幸迎来了来自德国的6名资深艺术家及著名策展人。四川素有“天府之国”美称，这里自然山川绮丽多姿，人文气息丰富多样。本次参展的国内艺术家呈现给人们的是天府原野山川的温情与秀丽，展示蜀人在日常生活中悠悠延绵的文脉之韵，更为大家展现了四川人自由包容、开放拼搏、敢于创新的精神。德国是传统欧洲大国，不仅经济发达，精神文化更是屹立世界之林。本次参展的德国艺术家，用优美的作品诠释了欧洲风光的纯然明净、风土人情的别样多姿，如一缕清风拂面而来，给人耳目一新之感，描绘了他们骨子里的浪漫主义和表现主义，更是展现了德国人勇敢坚韧、精益求精、开拓进取的精神。

今天，中国和德国的经济正在深入合作，两国人民的精神文化生活也在深入交流。文化是一个国家、一个民族的灵魂，精神需求是一个国家发展的深层动力。我们在追求发展的同时，要尊重世界文明多样性，以文明交流超越文明隔阂、文明互鉴超越文明冲突、文明共存超越文明优越。而艺术多样性是文明发展的一环，艺术交流就是一种至关重要的沟通方式，是让全世界都能彼此理解精神内涵的重要语言。

经济发展在于流通、文化兴盛在于交流、精神繁荣在于传播。如今，中国发出了“构建人类命运共同体”的呼吁，其实就是要通过相互尊重、平等协商、开发共享的方式，号召全人类推动经济全球化朝着更加开放、包容、普惠、平衡、共赢的方向发展，建设持久和平、普遍安全、共同繁荣、开放包容、清洁美丽的世界。我们举办的中德当代艺术交流展的目的在于促进两国的文化交流，享受精神文化盛宴，提升艺术品味，也有助于双边和多边文明互鉴，让社会各界都积极参与其中，不断深化合作，完善人文交流机制，为中德达成全方位战略伙伴关系注入新的动力。这次交流展览，我们有幸邀请到德国柏林艺术协会的著名艺术家 Norma Drimmer (诺玛•德梅尔)、Christian Ebel (克利斯坦•艾贝尔)、Marianne Gielen (玛利亚娜•基伦)、Susanne Kessler (苏珊娜•克斯勒)、Sabine Schneider (萨宾娜•施奈德)、Evelyn Sommerhoff (艾维林•索门霍夫）和中国27名著名艺术家在四川香迪美术馆为大家带来精彩的艺术对话，这次展览目的是促进中西方当代油画艺术交流，为中国艺术家搭建国外展览交流平台，为德国艺术家提供一个了解东方现代文化艺术的窗口。

此次展览跨区域、跨国界，极具交流性、融汇性、开放性、学术性，这不仅是一次来自不同国家艺术家对话切磋的油画交流活动，更是一次给观众展现西方艺术和东方神韵的视觉盛宴。

这次展览我邀请了中国当前一批最优秀的艺术家，他们有自己的方向和艺术价值主体，从他们的作品中，看见了不同空间艺术的独特魅力，看见了艺术新语境和突破，看到作品没有停留在形式上的标新，而是真正从观念和心灵上的直接深入和觉醒！

悠久的人文历史，需要我们铭记。

高贵的精神品质，需要我们继承。

优良的文化传统，需要我们发扬。

深厚的情感友谊，需要我们维持。

值此中德建交46周年之际，让我们以此次艺术交流为契机，把彼此的文化交流融合持续下去，开启两国人民精神文化生活在四川的新篇章艺术无界！

Heinrich Heine, a famous German poet, once said, "I do not praise deeds, but the spirit of man." He was eulogizing not only the history of mankind but also the great spirit of mankind.

At present, China and the world have entered a new era. On the new historical occasion, we can notice that the world is changing rapidly, the material has been greatly prosperous, our world is so colorful, the history is profound, and the spiritual demands of mankind are constantly improving. Due to the diversified spiritual demands, the multi-polarization of the world, economic globalization, social informatization and cultural diversity can be further developed.

When it comes to the spirit, it needs to be communicatedand expressed. Artists, especially painters, use brushes to present the spirit of their times in the most real, straightforward and abstract way. Changing colors, distinctive shapes and rich layers give people a great appeal, and the beautiful art can leave a deep impression on one. The artistic behavior is the appearance of spiritual beauty, and the works of artists are the window of thoughts, which can arouse people's deep spiritual resonance. Through the works of art, we can see the author's life experience, the changes of the times, and the changes of spiritual culture.

This exhibition has invited 25 famous artists in China, and even, with a privilege, invited 6 senior artists and famous curators from Germany. Sichuan is known as the "Land of Abundance" for its magnificent natural mountains and rivers and its rich and varied cultural atmosphere. The Chinese artists present the warmth and beauty of the local natural mountains and rivers. They show the lasting cultural charm of the Sichuan people in their daily life, also show the spirit of freedom, tolerance, openness, struggle and innovation of the Sichuan people. Germany is a traditional European power. It is not only economically developed, but also spiritually and culturally developed. The German artists in this exhibition, with their exquisite works, interpret the pure and bright European scenery as well as the unique and diversified local conditions and customs, giving people a sense of refreshment, which depict their innate romanticism and expressionism, and also present the German spirit of courage, perseverance, excellence, and also the pioneering spirit.

Today, China and Germany are having an in-depth cooperation in economy, so are the people of the two nations have in-depth exchanges in the spiritual and cultural life. Culture is the soul of a country and a nation, while the spiritual demand is a deep motive force for the development of a country. In pursuance of development, we should respect the diversity of world civilizations, stride over cultural barriers through exchanges of civilizations, overcome cultural conflicts through mutual learning of civilizations, and transcend cultural superiority through coexistence of civilizations. Since the diversity of art is a step in the development of civilization, art communicatio**** **** **** vital means of communication, as well as an important language to enable the world to understand each other's spiritual connotation.

Economy develops in the circulation, culture prospers through exchanges and spirit flourishes on the communication. Nowadays, China has issued an appeal to build a community of human destiny. That is, through mutual respect, equal consultation, development and sharing, a call on all mankind to promote economic globalization towards a more open, tolerant, inclusive, universal, balanced and win-win direction, so as to build a world of persisting peace, universal security, common prosperity,openness and tolerance as well as cleanness and beauty. This exhibition aims to promote cultural exchanges, enjoy spiritual and cultural feasts and enhance artistic taste between the two nations. It is also conducive to the mutual learning of bilateral and multilateral civilizations, makes all sectors of society take an active part in it, deepens cooperation, improves the mechanism of cultural exchanges, and also injects a new impetus for China and Germany to reach an all-round strategic partnership. For this exhibition, it is a privilege for us to have the renowned artists of the Berlin Artists Association, Norma Drimmer, Christian Ebel, Marianne Gielen, Susanne Kessler, Sabine Schneider and Evelyn Sommerhoff,and 25 famous Chinese artists to bring us a wonderful art dialogue at the Sichuan Hondei Art Gallery. It intends to promote exchanges of the contemporary Chinese and Western oil paintings, to build an overseas exhibition and exchange platform for Chinese artists, and to provide German artists with a window to understand modern oriental culture and art.

It is a cross-regional, cross-border, highly communicative, convergent, open and academic exhibition, not only as an exchange of oil paintings between artists from different countries, but also as a visual feast to show the western art and oriental charm.

I have invited some of the best artists in China for this exhibition. They have their own orientation and subject of artistic value. From their works, we can see the unique charm of different space arts, the new contexts and breakthroughs of art, and we can see the real direct deepening and awakening in concept and soul in addition to the innovation in the form.

We need to remember the long cultural history.

We need to carry on the noble spiritual quality.

We need to carry forward the excellent cultural traditions.

We need to maintain the profound friendship.

On the occasion of the 46thanniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany, we shall take this artistic exchange as an opportunity to continue the cultural exchanges and integration between the two countries and open a new chapter of boundless art in the spiritual and cultural life of the people of two countries in Sichuan.
